theGreenskin’s 1st Anniversary Contest

We’re not there yet, but we will be shortly! October 31, 2008 marks this blog’s first full year of writing about Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Coverage has ranged from game speculation and personal commentary on a variety of game announcements and MMORPG design concepts when WAR was still in beta to actually reporting about post-release, in-game experiences.

I don’t want to pat myself on the back (awww, what the heck), but I think I’m the proud owner of the oldest (active) blog solely dedicated to WAR. I’m quite happy about that, and although there have been many bumps along the road, we’re still alive and kickin’. I’ll give credit to the great WAR community for that!

But enough about all that. I’ll save the teary-eyed retrospective for our actual one-year anniversary!

Right now, I want to tell you about a CONTEST that will shake the very foundations of the WAR blogosphere. Men will weep. Women will flee. Babies will tremble in fear. Greenskins will relish the glory of widespread destruction. The earth will kneel - and I am only mildly exaggerating!

Contest Rules

  1. Leave an intelligent comment on this blog between now and October 31st (spam doesn’t count)
  2. Third place will go to the 5,000th commenter
  3. Second place will go to the 5,150th commenter
  4. First place will go to the 5,300th commenter

I’m not telling you how many approved comments we currently have, but it’s pretty close to third place already and I have no doubt we’ll hit the 5,300 mark within the next three weeks! I’ll announce the winners on my official one-year anniversary date.

  1. If a spam comment happens to be a winner, I will the next non-spam comment (I have the right to moderate/delete comments to make things fair for all participants)
  2. You must enter a valid email address that you check frequently so I can get in touch

Shammy are the most fun I have had playing a char in a long time in many games the mechanic’s of the char allow for high dps with instant healing who could ask for more productivity… playing 75%/ 25%dmg sp specing into healing and dmg to boost healing = great productive rather then just spam healing and wiaiing for dmg to happen
