I found a guild!

There have been several guilds popping up in the WAR blogosphere lately, including Casualties of WAR and the Happy Fun Guys (fungis… get it!?) and I’ve been really tempted to join their ranks. However, several RL friends will be playing WAR and they want to play with our old WoW guild who I never really got to know very well, so that’s what I’m going to do too. I was also recently invited back to my old DAOC guild, Vegr, which is just full of awesome people who I’ve shared some of my best MMORPG experiences with. I’m hoping we can form an alliance at launch!

We’re not actively recruiting at the moment, but you can check us out at http://war.enmity.mmoguildsites.net if you’re interested. I’m also happy to report that Syp of the Waaagh! Blog will be joining us! At least I think he is… Maybe he’s just getting our hopes up!

I’m 99% sure we’ll be rolling Destruction on a Core server, so hopefully we can land on a server with many Greenskin readers, as well as CoW. Unfortunately, Keen is going Open-RvR so I won’t get to fight alongside him. Bummer! On the plus side, he’ll have a lot of perspective to bring to future ChaosCast from that server-type’s perspective.

I hope the Destruction side of CoW gets with your guild when WAR goes live to form a great alliance. I know the leaders of CoW have a lot on their plate planning 2 guilds but it looks like the Destruction side is a little smaller so it would be nice to chat with some really smart people ( I assume they are smart because if the company they keep, you and Syp). Good luck and hope to see your guild in game. I’ll be the Scary Black Orc or Zealot.

It seems like an excellent guild. Perhaps keep us updated on the recruitment status. I for one am looking for a new guild now that my old guild has fallen apart. (and on destruction this time)

Glad you found a home Snafzg! Keep me filled in on how those Core servers develop. I’d be interested in knowing whether or not you find enough open-world RvR.

Artillery and I have recently joined up with our good friends the Koga clan. And thus Koga Artillery was born. We’re definitely going on an Open RvR Maybe we’ll get lucky and see keen around.

Brooke, i checked out your guild.
it is in desperate need for an introduction page. i have no idea what your guild is about. is it hardcore pvp, rp or casual fun loving guild.
I hope that the information will soon be added.

Yeah, I guess we should add that! Most of the guildies haven’t tried WAR yet or followed it very much. I think a lot of details are still up in the air until they can get their hands on open beta.

You guys should Role on an RP server and we can have some sick greenskin parties. RP is really worth it, even if you aren’t a huge fan of RPing. I’m part of Darklore btw.

People need to stop posting links to guilds that are not looking for players. WTF? I have nothing better to do than to look at websites with closed memberships? This being for an unreleased game to boot. Sheesh.

it’s a tough call, it’s really up to you mate. Enjoy the game most of all. But, IMHO i say join up with them maybe make new friends. whats the worst that happens?
