Grrrr! Grrrrr. That is one over-dressed dog! No wonder she fell down the stairs! Grrrrrrrrr.

Right, so we have a dog on The Greenskin and cats on Book of Grudges - now we need commentary on the inherent Order/Chaos of household pets ;p

That’s awesome…no wonder he gives you hell…you dress him in pink

Rofl, I’d never dress my male dog in pink! Shelby is a beeeeeyatch.
Then again, I’d never dress any dog in anything… It was the missus’ doing! I could probably buy a new gaming rig every year with what she spends on the dog and cats annually.

I support personal pictures on your blog. Why the hell not? It’s your blog! I like getting to know other people and have no fear!

Very cute dog. I have a Black Lab that looks very similar.

She’s cute and she knows it! There’s a pretty neat story about how we got her too.
She was literally born in a barn in the countryside outside my town on Halloween (2006). Friends of ours who breed boxers were building a house out there and let the dogs run around since there was so much open space. One day their neighbour’s female lab strolled into the yard and got impregnated by the boxer stud. The thing is… no-one knew at the time.
Some time later (Halloween), a litter of five puppies were born in the lab’s owner’ (a jovial Portuguese man) barn with several chickens and goats. The following three days were the coldest of 2006; about -25C. Three of the five puppies died from the exposure. We were made aware of the situation several weeks later and asked if we’d take one of the two survivors.
One was quite large, dominant, and healthy while the other was small, cowering, and weak. We obviously wanted to rescue the weaker one but the owner had grown attached to her and wanted to keep her as a pet. We took the fuzzy black piglet and named her Shelby.
About a year later, our dog ends up being the sappy cuddle monkey while the other one he kept is extremely healthy and well-adjusted! He keeps it outside 90% of the time (even winter), while our dog whines and begs to be let into bed every night because she’s chilly!
It’s all good though. She’s insanely smart with a huge vocabulary and large bag of tricks. We actually have her in agility classes and she’s the fastest dog they’ve ever seen. I wish there was a dog racing track in this city because I’d be freakin’ rich!
