BOOM! Studios: 1-in-5 Chance to Win WAR Beta Key

When BOOM! Studios’ new comic, WARHAMMER: CONDEMNED BY FIRE #1, hits stands this April, game fans everywhere will have a chance at gaining entry into the beta test of EA Mythic’s, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. This five-issue mini-series is a continuation of the FORGE OF WAR mini-series I wrote about previously and follows the exploits of Magnus Gault, a Witch Hunter seeking to end the spread of dark magic and witchery of all kinds.
Each copy of WARHAMMER: CONDEMNED BY FIRE #1 contains a scratch-off which reveals a code giving readers a 1-in-5 chance of entry into the WARHAMMER ONLINE beta test.
According to Chaos Warhost, winners must redeem their scratch key before May 31, 2008, which reinforces the expected delivery date of Q2, 2008 (June). As good as that sounds, it’s still no guarantee.
I highly recommend checking out BOOM! Studios’ other Warhammer books, FORGE of WAR and BLOOD & THUNDER (dealing with greenskins specifically).

WAR beta invite criteria is still a pretty big mystery. Short of winning beta contests (like this), there doesn’t seem to be any sure-fire way of getting in.

any idea of the exact release date of the comic? my local comic shop had no idea, but the guy who answered the phone sounded like he was spaced out
