January 11, 2008 – 7:01 pmIn their 12th exclusive interview with Warhammer Online devs, Warcry uncovered a few interesting tidbits:
EA Mythic: Mounts are primarily a form of travel in the game, as well as a visual status symbol of player achievement. There are no other major game play features beyond travel intended for mounts at the launch of WAR.

I expected as much back when AoC started making such a big deal about theirs. Since Mythic didn’t make a resounding “we’re doing it too!” I figured mounts would remain out of combat.

I wish a game would just let me HIT SOMETHING while mounted…honestly…lol It’s the one thing they have yet to do in ANY MMO I’ve heard of. I’m playing this “Perfect World” MMO right now, just to pass the time till WAR get’s here.
